General Processing & Shipment

Captian Jack's Chapman Ranch Plug manages its inventory to ensure maximum product freshness for each order. We generally process and ship orders within 3 - 5 business days (does not include weekends and major holidays), with exception for larger or custom orders.

We conscientiously make every effort to process and ship your order in a timely and secure manner after we receive your payment. However, during very busy times, processing may take an extra day or two. We appreciate your understanding in this regard. Any major delays will be posted on our site.

We reserve the right to adjust shipping times without prior notice.

Once we receive your order we log and queue it for processing. We notify you by email when your order is placed and again when your order is packaged and shipped. Your shipping email confirmation includes:

      • summary of your order
      • shipping date
      • shipping carrier,
      • tracking information if available
      • other pertinent delivery information

Orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) or United States Postal Service (USPS) unless otherwise specified. The shipping cost for your order is calculated according to the cumulative weight of each item when you checkout. You are able to verify the total cost of your order, including shipping and handling, at that time.

Sorry, we do not ship via C.O.D. We also do not ship to post office boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or via international postal services. We suggest you have your order shipped to a friend or relative who can then forward it to you. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Order Tracking
You may track your orders using the tracking number included in your shipping notification. For your convenience you may use our online tracking system to track your order. To do this:

      1. Simply login to your account on our site
      2. View your order history
      3. Click the tracking number link if available
      4. Agree to the terms and agreements
      5. Click the "Track" button to view your shipping information

If you prefer otherwise, both UPS and USPS provide online tracking systems for this purpose.

Special Delivery Instructions
Delivery dates and times of your order are subject to the delivery criteria of our carriers. UPS and USPS offer varied and flexible delivery options that satisfy the requirements of most orders. Typically we are able to comply with your delivery needs within those parameters. If you have a special delivery requirement, please include it in the "Special Instructions" section on the order page. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

We can expedite processing and shipping for some items at an additional charge. This service is subject to our workload and product availability. Please contact us for details.

It is a rare exception that your order will be delivered after the specified delivery date. Should this occur and your order does not fit one of our "Delivery Exceptions" criteria, please contact us to arrange for a partial or full refund of your shipping charge.
Backorders or Discontinued Items

We will notify you on the rare occasion a product item is backordered or discontinued to amend your order or specify an estimated shipping date. We will contact you via the email or phone information you provided with your order. If you would like to provide your own guidelines on potential modifications to your order, please include these in the "Special Instructions" section of our order page. If a modification is required we will exert every effort to honor your request.

Delivery Exceptions
There are unusual situations beyond our control where we are unable to guarantee prompt or secure delivery. These situations include:

• Severe Weather and Other "Acts of God": We will do our best to inform you of the situation and make alternate delivery arrangements if your delivery is delayed or rendered impossible because of inclement weather.

• Delivery Refused by Recipient: If the intended recipient refuses to accept your delivery, we will refund your purchase price less a 30% restocking fee and shipping charges if the package is returned to us in resale condition. However, we do not guarantee a refund if the package contains perishable goods.

• Recipient Absent at Time of Delivery: Please ensure that someone will be available to accept your delivery when it arrives, otherwise please use the "Special Instructions" section on our order page to specify a neighbor or other secure location where your package may be delivered. At their discretion, the delivery person may leave a message or secure your delivery in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve it when they return if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery.

• Incorrect or Incomplete Address Provided: Please ensure the "ship to" address for your delivery is correct and complete. Your delivery may be substantially delayed in the case of incorrect or incomplete address information, particularly deliveries to offices or apartment buildings. We will attempt to contact you as soon as we are aware of any difficulty with your delivery. If we are unable to reach you, we will attempt to contact the recipient to request a corrected address. We may assess additional fees if subsequent delivery attempts are required. Please be mindful that you, the customer, is responsible for the entire purchase if we receive an incorrect or incomplete address and the delivery is made. Captian Jack's Chapman Ranch Plug is not responsible for deliveries to incorrect or incomplete addresses once the customer has verified the "ship to" location is correct.

• Packages Left in Offices or Mail Rooms: Products sent to businesses or buildings where deliveries must be made to a central mail room or receptionist may be delayed internally. Please ensure the intended recipient knows to expect your delivery so they may receive it appropriately upon arrival. We strongly advise you take added delivery precaution for more delicate or perishable merchandise.

Disclaimer: We do not guarantee the condition of package contents in any of the exceptional circumstances described above since contents may be damaged by extreme handling or environmental factors.

Captian Jack's Chapman Ranch Plug is not responsible for packages damaged by exposure or neglect after delivery has been attempted or made.

Damage Claims:
Please inspect packages upon arrival. You must report any damages, missing items or missing boxes to both USPS and Captian Jack's Chapman Ranch Plug within 3 days of receiving your order. If you notice any damage to the shipping package upon delivery, report it to the USPS driver and then report it directly to USPS. USPS will send someone to inspect the package. If you notice any damaged items upon unpacking the order:

      •leave the package and its contents as is
      •save all of the packaging material
      •contact USPS to arrange an inspection of your package
      •contact us so we may process your claim

We will not replace damaged merchandise unless the package has been inspected by USPS. Your replacement will be shipped once we have been issued a claim number from USPS. We also will not replace missing items unless they are reported within 3 days of the receipt of your order.

In the event that we make an error, we will of course gladly authorize the return of incorrect or defective merchandise and pay for the return shipping costs.
